SİLVA ÖZYERLİ

Silva Özyerli was born in Diyarbakır in 1964. At a young age, she was sent to Istanbul for her studies as a  boarding student. There she attended İncirdibi Protestant Primary School and Bezciyan Secondary School, and completed her senior high school education at Girls' Vocational School back in Diyarbakır. In 2019, her first food, memoir, culture book Amida'nın Sofrası (Amida's Fare Table) was published by Aras Publishing House. She tries to stand out against the oblivion and extinction of the culinary culture of her hometown, Diyarbakır. She is currently working on her second book on liqueurs and liqueur culture.
